Cobblestone Shoppe, a new business catering to area artists located at 7 E. Second Ave., will be closing its doors for the month of April due to the construction and repair outside the shop. The business will host a grand reopening April 30-May 31. Artwork will still be sold on the shop’s Web site, www.cobblestoneshoppe.com, and any questions should be directed to the shop at 706-378-8848.

The Rome International Film Festival is accepting entries for the 2007 event, scheduled for Sept. 6-9 in Rome.
